After the untypical conditions of 2003, the usual weather patterns of the Limoux region returned in 2004.<\/p>\n
The winter was cold, especially in January and February, and very wet, with heavy rains in January and March. Budbreak took place during the first two weeks of April, in line with the average for the last ten years. Flowering occurred from 8 to 18 June in dry weather.<\/p>\n
The summer was much less hot than in 2003. Low but regular rainfall in July and August meant that the vines did not suffer from drought.<\/p>\n
Mirroring the vegetation cycle, the crop reached optimum maturity at the usual date.<\/p>\n
